Bitcoin Hits $61,300 — Its Lowest Since February — as $1.6 Billion in Positions Are Liquidated

Bitcoin dropped to $61,300 on Thursday, its weakest level since February 6, on a day that wiped out $1.6 billion in leveraged positions and pushed the Fear and Greed Index to 11. The immediate trigger was a convergence of 13 consecutive days of US spot ETF outflows, Strategy's first Bitcoin sale in nearly four years, and sustained capital rotation toward AI infrastructure. Ethereum fell to a 14-month low. Solana hit its lowest point since December 2023.

Computex 2026 produced the most significant PC hardware shift in years: Nvidia unveiled RTX Spark, a superchip combining 20 ARM cores with a Blackwell GPU and 128 GB of unified memory — its first consumer PC processor. Thirty laptops and ten desktops arrive in fall 2026. Simultaneously, Nvidia is targeting $20 billion in data centre CPU revenue with its Vera chip. Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm all face a different competitive landscape than they did a week ago.

Meta Breaks From Open Source With Muse Spark, Its Most Powerful AI Model Yet

Meta Superintelligence Labs has launched Muse Spark, the company's first proprietary frontier model, abandoning the open-source strategy that defined Llama. Built from scratch over nine months, it scores nearly three times higher than Llama 4 on the AI Intelligence Index and sets new records in medical reasoning and visual figure understanding.
